Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Volunteers ages 14–15 may participate with an adult. Please arrive on time for your scheduled shift and be prepared to assist with assembling and distributing backpacks.

Drueding Center was founded by the Sisters of the Redeemer in 1987. It was the first transitional housing program for women and children experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia. Today, it serves nearly 700 families annually through its four departments: Residential, Child Care, Community Services, and the Green Light Pantry at Drueding Center.
Help brighten the lives of the families we serve by helping us efficiently fill and distribute 250 backpacks!
