About Us

DEFEND is a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to protecting children and other vulnerable people online. Our mission is to reduce online risks through education and technology to create safer digital spaces.

About the Role

We invite parents to listen to our dramatic fictional podcast, Dark Side of the Web. Each 10-minute episode dives into different online risks, helping you understand and identify potential dangers your child might encounter. By listening, you’ll become more informed about online safety and can help us by providing feedback to improve the podcast.

This is an opportunity to get involved in our mission in a meaningful way. Additionally, DEFEND offers several volunteer roles for those who want to actively participate in our initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Podcast Listeners: Tune into Dark Side of the Web on Google, Apple, or Spotify Podcasts and share your thoughts with us.
• Feedback Providers: Help us improve by giving constructive feedback on episodes.
• Advocates for Online Safety: If inspired, consider volunteering in other roles to support our mission and protect children online.
