The Impact You'll Make
As a S.T.E.M. Club Mentor, you’ll be more than a helper—you’ll be a role model. You’ll guide younger students through exciting projects, encourage them when challenges arise, and show them that anyone can succeed in STEM with curiosity and persistence. Your leadership will help create a welcoming, inclusive space where every student feels they belong.
What You'll Do
- Assist in planning and leading engaging STEM activities, such as building simple circuits, coding small programs, or designing engineering challenges.
- Support younger students during club meetings by answering questions, explaining concepts, and encouraging teamwork.
- Help set up and clean up materials before and after activities.
- Work with the club advisor to brainstorm new project ideas and improve existing activities.
- Model positive behavior, respect, and enthusiasm for learning.
What You'll Bring

- Patience, kindness, and the ability to explain ideas in a way others can understand.
- Reliability—showing up on time and ready to help each week.
- Willingness to learn alongside the students you mentor.
