    Fundraising & Development Coordinator

POSITION: Fundraising & Development Coordinator Organization: Face Friends Foundation, Incorporated Location: Remote — Virtual Commitment: Flexible, asynchronous, pro bono volunteer Department: Fundraising & Development Reports To: Director of Strategic Partnerships & Fundraising Development Posted: August 27, 2026

    ABOUT FACE FRIENDS FOUNDATION

Face Friends Foundation, Incorporated is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Sugar Hill, Georgia, building the Sugar Hill Workforce Academy — a community food pantry and wellness hub, a commercial culinary incubator kitchen, and a technical literacy lab serving the Gwinnett County corridor. Our mission is to break generational survival cycles by arming local residents with asset-backed tech and culinary skills so they can build self-sustaining lives, rather than dependent ones.

We are 51 days from the launch of our Digital Online Academy on October 19, 2026, and building toward the opening of our physical Sugar Hill Workforce Academy on March 1, 2027. We have a $150,000 Phase 1 escrow target and a team of professional volunteers working across grants, corporate partnerships, revenue modeling, communications, and technical operations to get there.

What we are missing is the person who holds it all together.

    THE OPPORTUNITY

This is not a coordinator role in the traditional sense. This is the connective tissue of the foundation's entire fundraising operation.

Face Friends Foundation has active grant research, corporate sponsorship outreach, international partnership development, AI-enabled fundraising workflow design, and revenue modeling all running simultaneously — each led by a skilled professional volunteer. What does not yet exist is one person sitting at the center of every revenue stream, coordinating the activity, tracking the progress, and ensuring that the foundation's $150,000 escrow target is being pursued as one integrated effort rather than six separate ones.

That person is the Fundraising & Development Coordinator.

    WHAT YOU WILL OWN

    • Coordinate all fundraising activity across the foundation's three revenue streams — corporate sponsorship ($50,000 target), community grants ($100,000 target), and earned revenue ($184,800 projected annually post-opening)
    • Serve as the central point of contact between the Grants Director, Corporate Partnerships Manager, International Corporate Partnerships Director, Revenue Modeling Consultant, and AI Fundraising Workflow Consultant — ensuring every team member knows what the others are doing and where the gaps are
    • Track the foundation's progress toward the $150,000 Phase 1 escrow target on a weekly basis — maintaining a real time picture of what has been committed, what is in the pipeline, and what needs to be pursued
    • Support donor stewardship — maintaining relationships with existing donors, corporate partners, and grant funders through consistent, professional communication
    • Support grant identification and submission coordination — working alongside the Grants Director and AI grants research agent to ensure grant opportunities are identified, vetted, and submitted on time
    • Support corporate partnership outreach — working alongside the Corporate Partnerships team to ensure every prospect in the pipeline is being pursued with the right materials at the right time
    • Coordinate fundraising communications — working with the Communications & Marketing team to ensure the foundation's fundraising story is being told consistently and compellingly across every channel
    • Report weekly to the Executive Director — a one page fundraising dashboard showing where every revenue stream stands against its target

    WHO YOU ARE

    • You have experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or donor relations — whether paid or volunteer
    • You are comfortable coordinating across multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing the thread of any of them
    • You are a clear, professional communicator who can hold a team accountable with warmth and precision
    • You are self-managing and asynchronous — you do not need someone to tell you what to do next, you look at the picture and figure it out
    • You are comfortable working in a fully virtual, all-volunteer environment where the mission moves faster than the infrastructure
    • You have working knowledge of fundraising cycles — prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and pipeline tracking
    • Experience with CRM platforms, project management tools, or grant management systems is a plus
    • Nonprofit fundraising certification or formal development training is a plus but not required

    WHAT YOU GET

    • A front row seat to building something Gwinnett County has never had
    • A team of skilled professional volunteers who are doing real work toward a real deadline
    • Direct access to the Founder and Executive Director
    • The experience of coordinating a full nonprofit fundraising operation from the ground up
    • A role that grows with the foundation — this Coordinator becomes the foundation's first Development Director as the organization scales

    COMMITMENT

    • Fully remote and asynchronous
    • Estimated 2-3 to hours per week with room to grow as the role develops
    • Flexible scheduling — no fixed meeting times required
    • Pro bono volunteer engagement
    • 30 day probationary period upon platform activation
