2026 9/11 Flags of Remembrance: Set Up

Join us to honor and remember those who were killed on 9/11 with this being the 25th anniversary. This year will mark 25 years since this tragic day. We arrange 2,977 flags in the shape of the World Trade Cetner Towers each year. This emotional and meaningful display draws regular visitors as well as newcomers to the area with strong ties to this tragedy. This event is intended to broaden the awareness of what happened that day, especially for young people who did not experience this historical event as an adult.

During this event, volunteers will help place the 2,977 flags in the shape of the twin towers followed by placement of a name and picture card for each life lost that day.
