Nutrition Education Support Volunteer Position with Hebni Nutrition

Time: Tuesdays from 6 pm - 7 pm (except last week, Wednesday 12th)

Tasks:

1 - Sign-in Sheet

To ensure that everyone is being accounted for, we have sign-in sheets that are completed as participants come in. With these sign in sheets, we complete multiple reporting requirements with this sign in sheet so it's a very important step for our nutrition education classes.

2- Passing out Class Materials

For every nutrition education class, we have multiple worksheets that we hand out to help communicate educational topics. Our nutrition class support volunteer would help pass out those materials.

3- Passing out Incentives

Our mission at hebni is to promote healthy eating. A way we complete this mission is to provide our participants with nutrition education and locally grown produce from our Fresh Stop Bus program. This leads to an increase in their consumption of vegetables throughout the week.
