Volunteer in a Healthcare Clinic in Savannah, GA! (Mercy Volunteer Corps August 2027-July 2028)

St. Mary’s Health Center provides free primary health care and free access to labs, radiology, diagnostic testing, health education, cancer prevention screenings, and inpatient hospitalization. The clinic is staffed by nurse practitioners. A volunteer is needed as a clinical or administrative assistant. As a clinical assistant, the volunteer would triage patients, perform new patient assessments, provide health education, and document care in the electronic medical record. As an administrative assistant, the volunteer would answer phones and schedule appointments, assist with new patient intake, and coordinate and monitor patient referrals to specialty care.
