Hair Care Volunteer

At Corus Health, we provide compassionate end-of-life care and support to our patients and their families. We believe that personal care and dignity are essential to quality of life, and even small acts of kindness—like a fresh haircut or a simple styling—can bring comfort and joy.

Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking licensed hairstylists or experienced individuals to volunteer their time and skills to provide basic hair care services to hospice patients. Services may include:

• Gentle haircuts
• Simple styling (brushing, braiding, etc.)
• Shampooing (as applicable)
• Beard and mustache trims for male patients

Qualifications:

• Licensed hairstylist (preferred) or experienced in hair care
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to work with individuals in a sensitive healthcare setting
• Willingness to follow hospice care protocols and infection control guidelines
