2 Tech Mentors Needed (1 Hour a Week, Remote) - Start ASAP

Victory Afghanistan is urgently seeking two volunteer mentors with a background in technology to join our global mentorship program for young Afghan women.

Our students have completed six levels of English and are now in one of four mentorship semesters, where they explore future pathways such as university, scholarships, and remote work.

We are specifically looking for Tech Mentors who can:

• Offer career insight into software development, engineering, data, cybersecurity, AI, or related fields
• Guide students on how to prepare for tech internships, university applications, or remote tech jobs
• Provide encouragement and help each student map her next step

Commitment: 1 hour per week (or more if desired)

Location: Remote (you set the time with your mentee)

Dates: Immediate start - 24 November 2025

Duration: 20 weeks

Mentees: You’ll be paired with 1–6 mentees aged 20–24

Language: All mentees are fluent in English

Ideal Background:

• Ideally Masters degree, but also Bachelors in a techrelated field
• 10+ years of professional experience
• Strong emotional intelligence
• Reliable internet connection
