Hospice Patient Companion Volunteers Needed – Make Every Moment Matter

At Three Oaks Hospice, we believe no one should face the end of life alone. We are seeking compassionate volunteers to provide companionship and support to hospice patients and their families throughout The Woodlands and North Houston area.

Hospice volunteers offer the gift of presence. Whether sharing a conversation, listening to stories, reading aloud, or simply sitting quietly with a patient, volunteers help bring comfort, dignity, and connection during an important stage of life.

As a patient companion volunteer, you may:

• Visit patients in their homes or care facilities
• Engage in conversation and life review
• Read books, play music, or share hobbies
• Offer companionship to reduce feelings of isolation
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
• Give caregivers an opportunity to rest and recharge

No medical experience is necessary. Volunteers do not provide hands-on medical care. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided by Three Oaks Hospice.
