Position Overview

We’re seeking an individual who will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, organizing and executing events. These events aim to raise ,foster community engagement and generate funds.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Conceptualization: collaborate with the team to develop event themes and objectives.
• Coordinate logistics: Assist to manage logistic aspects related to venue, permits, supplies, schedules, and volunteers.
• Collaborate with FYAR’s program team
• Marketing and Promotion: Work with the outreach team to create promotional materials and implement marketing strategies.
• Liaise with vendors, performers, and community partners to secure necessary services and support.
• Budget Management : Assist with fundraising events and donor appreciation activities to ensure cost effectiveness and financial accountability.
• Post Evaluation: Maintain a post-event debrief process with lessons learned and attendance stats

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning, project management, or community organizing (professional or volunteer)
• Organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Creativity and a strong eye for detail
• Passion for youth empowerment, the arts, and community building
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team
