Hospice of Health First is looking for friendly, reliable, volunteers that like to provide companionship and support to hospice patients and their families in their own homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities. This opportunity allows caregivers to run errands, attend appointments or take a well-deserved break if needed.
Urgent need in both south Brevard County (Palm Bay, Grant, Sebastian) and north Brevard County (Cocoa Beach, Titusville, Mims). This opportunity is usually done in 2-to-4-hour increments.
Volunteer requirements needed prior to starting: 18 years of age and older, online training modules, Background Screening/Fingerprints, TB Test (no fee for anything).
