Every puppy raiser gets to experience firsthand the incredible impact of an assistance dog. Whether it’s providing increased independence through our mobility service dogs, or offering comfort and motivation through our facility dogs, your time and dedication make this mission possible.
Our work is only possible because of our extraordinary volunteer team—and right now, we are in high need of new puppy raisers for a 6 to 14 month commitment.

What to Expect Next:
- Introductory Call: A brief chat with our team to discuss expectations and answer your initial questions.
- Observe a Class: Visit a weekly training class in Aurora to see our pups and training methods in action.
- Home Visit: A relaxed visit to meet your family and current pets, ensuring every resident (furry or not) is excited for the adventure.
- Matching & Welcome: Once approved, we’ll work on matching you with the right pup and get you ready for pickup day!
