Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator

Help Us Grow Our Mission by Recruiting Volunteers Who Care

Are you friendly, organized, and passionate about connecting people with meaningful opportunities? We’re looking for a Volunteer Recruiter to help South Project expand our team of dedicated volunteers who support women and young moms through workshops, events, and community initiatives.

Your role will focus on outreach, relationship-building, and keeping our volunteer family strong and engaged. Our main platforms for recruiting are LinkedIn and Idealist, but you are welcome to explore other creative recruiting channels as well.

What You’ll Do:

• Recruit new volunteers using LinkedIn, Idealist, and other community platforms
• Share information about South Project’s mission and upcoming opportunities
• Assist with onboarding new volunteers (basic orientation, sign-up forms, follow-up)
• Track volunteer interest and availability for different events and programs
• Help create a welcoming, supportive environment for all volunteers

This is a flexible, remote volunteer opportunity with occasional in-person involvement at events. Your work will directly strengthen our programs and ensure more moms have the support they need.
