Community Event Volunteers Needed – Anchor & Legacy With A Purpose, Inc.

Anchor & Legacy With A Purpose, Inc. is seeking caring, dependable, and community-minded volunteers to support our upcoming youth, family, and community events throughout the Greater Boston area.

We are a nonprofit organization focused on supporting youth and families impacted by homicide. As our organization continues to grow, we are building relationships within the community, participating in community events, and developing programs and services that will provide youth with support, hope, resilience, and opportunities to build a positive future.

Volunteer responsibilities may include:

• Event setup and breakdown

• Greeting and welcoming youth and families

• Assisting at our organization’s resource/outreach table

• Distributing informational materials, giveaways, food, clothing, or other resources

• Helping with youth-friendly activities, arts and crafts, and event stations

• Organizing supplies and materials

• Supporting registration or sign-in tables

• Assisting Anchor & Legacy team members with general event needs

We welcome volunteers who are friendly, respectful, dependable, comfortable working in community settings, and passionate about making a positive difference for youth and families. Prior nonprofit or volunteer experience is helpful but not required.

Please note: This opportunity is for community and event support and is not a youth mentoring position. Some volunteer roles involving direct interaction with youth may require additional screening or background checks.

Volunteers may participate in one event or express interest in supporting multiple Anchor & Legacy events throughout the year.
