Descripción
BluShues Inc. is a nonprofit organisation and ministry dedicated to distributing free Bibles and fostering a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to make the Word of God accessible to everyone, both locally and internationally. We believe in the transformative power of volunteers who share our passion for spreading the message of hope and faith.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of BluShues' grants strategy to secure funding for programmes and organisational growth.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritise grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, corporations, faith based organisations, and other funding bodies.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of high quality grant proposals and supporting documentation.
- Manage the grant application process from opportunity identification through submission, award, implementation, and reporting.
- Supervise and support Grant Researchers, Grant Writers, and other volunteers involved in grant development activities.
- Collaborate with department leaders to gather programme information, budgets, impact data, and supporting evidence for grant applications.
- Maintain strong relationships with grant makers, funding organisations, and strategic partners.
- Monitor grant compliance to ensure all funding conditions, reporting requirements, and deadlines are met.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive grants pipeline, tracking applications, awards, reporting schedules, and renewal opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on grant activities, funding outcomes, and pipeline performance for senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen BluShues' grant funding capacity and improve grant management processes.
- Ensure all grant related activities are conducted ethically and align with BluShues' mission, values, and organisational objectives.

Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, International Development, Fundraising, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Experience managing grants, fundraising programmes, or nonprofit development initiatives is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of grant funding processes, proposal development, grant compliance, and donor reporting.
- Experience leading or coordinating grant application teams is an advantage.
- Excellent proposal writing, editing, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with grant management systems, donor databases, or project management tools is an advantage.
- Strong budgeting, planning, and organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse funding opportunities and develop competitive grant strategies.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in grant management, fundraising, and nonprofit leadership.
