Organization Overview
Buwenge Shared Hope Ministry (BSHM) is a registered charity organization located in Buwenge Town Council, Jinja District, Uganda. Founded in 2005 by a group of dedicated teachers, the ministry was established to care for the needs of orphaned and other vulnerable children.
Originally registered as a Community-Based Organization (CBO), BSHM operated under this status from 2005 until 2019. In 2020, the organization was fully incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee without Share Capital under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), with Registration Number: 80020002628897.
Vision
To build hope and a future for orphans and other vulnerable children, while preparing youths and women to cope with the competitive life situation in Uganda.
Mission
To nourish orphans and other vulnerable children, youths, and women for appropriate participation in all spheres of life in Uganda.
Core Areas of Focus
Buwenge Shared Hope Ministry adopts a holistic approach in its service to the community, focusing on five core areas:
- Education
- Health
- Livelihood
- Advocacy
- Faith
The SHOW Campus
- To bring this vision to life, BSHM acquired 5 acres of land
, now known as the SHOW Campus. This land serves as the central hub for the ministry’s programs and services. The campus includes:
- Light Junior Nursery and Primary School – providing quality education for children.
- Dispensing Clinic – offering basic healthcare services.
- Chapel – for spiritual nourishment and community fellowship.
- Water Sources – including boreholes to ensure clean water access.
- Income-Generating Projects – such as:
- Fish ponds
- Animal farming
- Agricultural projects
Through these initiatives, Buwenge Shared Hope Ministry continues to empower lives, restore dignity, and bring sustainable hope to the most vulnerable in the community.

VISION: Builds hope and future of orphans and other vulnerable children, preparing
the youths and women to cope with the competitive life situation in Uganda
MISSION: Nourishing orphans and other vulnerable children, youths and women for appropriate
participation in all spheres of life in Uganda.
Buwenge Shared Hope Ministry was able to acquire land worthy 10.5 acres where we are building this
vision. We call it the SHOW Campus as it includes a school (Light Junior Nursery and Primary School, a
dispensing Clinic, Chapel, water sources like boreholes and other income generating projects like fish
ponds and animal farms.
