    Descripción

    The Co-Director of Volunteering supports the full volunteer experience, from onboarding through long-term engagement. This role helps ensure volunteers feel welcomed, informed, supported, and valued while strengthening retention, satisfaction, and community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for volunteers
    • Schedule and lead volunteer orientations, introducing policies, procedures, and available roles
    • Partner with staff and directors to match volunteers with good-fit opportunities
    • Continuously improve onboarding and training materials (guides, videos, signage, systems)
    • Coordinate follow-ups, mentorship, and buddy opportunities for new volunteers
    • Maintain accurate volunteer records and track onboarding progress
    • Conduct regular volunteer check-ins to support satisfaction and prevent burnout
    • Develop recognition and appreciation initiatives
    • Help organize social, community-building, and team-engagement activities
    • Support leadership development and mentoring pathways
    • Gather feedback from volunteers, including exit insights
    • Collaborate closely with other Volunteer Directors to provide coverage and continuity

    • Organizational and coordination skills
    • Ability to mentor, guide, and support volunteers
    • Problem-solving and conflict-navigation skills
    • Experience with volunteer programs, training, or community engagement (preferred)
    • Collaborative mindset and flexibility
