Become a volunteer breeder caretaker to provide a loving home, support and care for a breeder dog whose puppies will grow up to change lives!

Caretaker Responsibilities:

• Live within driving distance to Canine Companions headquarters in Santa Rosa to bring the breeder dog in for veterinary & breeding appointments.
• Help provide a loving home and care for an adult breeder dog who make service dog miracles possible. You'll support them throughout their breeding journey and female caretakers provide litter care.

• Canine Companions covers services and supports most costs throughout the duration of the process, including food for pregnant and nursing females, exams, vaccinations and preventatives.
