Are you curious about the world - and how to connect better with the people in it?

Whether you’re an experienced communicator or just starting to explore what it means to truly connect, Acquaint offers a space to grow. As a Human Connection Volunteer, you’ll join 45-60 minute one-on-one conversations with fellow volunteers from around the world. No mentoring, no teaching - just mutual practice in curiosity, listening, and sharing.

You’ll choose your own conversation prompts and availability each week. We handle the matching - you focus on showing up with an open mind.

What You’ll Do:

• Join guided 1-on-1 virtual conversations with global peers
• Choose from a wide selection of prompts and icebreakers
• Practice listening, sharing, and cross-cultural understanding

What You’ll Gain:

• Confidence connecting with anyone, anywhere
• Milestone badges, certificates, and optional training courses

What You Need:

• Conversational English
• Internet access and basic computer skills
• Age 15+ (under 18 requires guardian consent)

Time Commitment:

1 hour/week recommended. Fully flexible schedule - Acquaint hours vary by day/week but generally open from 5:00 AM-10:00 PM Pacific.
