Descripción
Support TeenSpeakUp by leading or assisting arts-based activities that help youth express themselves, build confidence, and learn healthy relationship skills through creative engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Help facilitate youth arts activities (Literature, Visual, Graphic, Performing Arts and Music and mix-media)
- Support a safe, encouraging environment with positive mentorship
- Assist with setup/cleanup of supplies and space
- Encourage participation while maintaining boundaries and respect
- Collaborate with TeenSpeakUp staff on session themes (self-esteem, healthy relationships, expression, leadership)
Ideal Volunteer
- Enjoys working with middle/high school youth
- Patient, creative, and positive
- Comfortable following youth safety rules and program structure
- Those who have passion, gifts, training, or be educators of the arts
