    Description

    Support TeenSpeakUp by leading or assisting arts-based activities that help youth express themselves, build confidence, and learn healthy relationship skills through creative engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Help facilitate youth arts activities (Literature, Visual, Graphic, Performing Arts and Music and mix-media)
    • Support a safe, encouraging environment with positive mentorship
    • Assist with setup/cleanup of supplies and space
    • Encourage participation while maintaining boundaries and respect
    • Collaborate with TeenSpeakUp staff on session themes (self-esteem, healthy relationships, expression, leadership)

    Ideal Volunteer

    • Enjoys working with middle/high school youth
    • Patient, creative, and positive
    • Comfortable following youth safety rules and program structure
    • Those who have passion, gifts, training, or be educators of the arts
