Join us in strengthening community.
About Wednesdays
Our communities are more disconnected than ever, and across the country, people are searching for ways to feel more connected. Wednesdays offers a simple approach: friends-of-friends gatherings that happen every Wednesday at 7pm. Instead of introducing strangers cold, we build on existing trust – one person starts a group chat with friends from different parts of their lives, everyone invites a few more friends, and the group meets at the same place each week.
We’re looking for fellows to help refine this approach and help this reach other communities.
What You’ll Do
- Pilot a weekly gathering in your own community and share what you learn
- Help co-develop guidance and resources for others who want to start groups
- Strengthen connections between gatherings so they feel part of something larger
- Contribute your perspective on rituals, themes, and practices that build belonging
- Help shape how this effort grows and connects across communities
What This Is
- Volunteer fellowship (unpaid)
- Four weeks, approximately 5 hours per week
