TEEI Mentorship connects professionals with volunteer career mentors for practical, one-to-one guidance online.

You do not need to be a professional coach or recruiter. You bring experience from your own field, listen, ask useful questions, and share what you have learned.

• Preparing for interviews
• Discussing career options and professional goals
• Explaining hiring expectations and workplace norms
• Sharing industry-specific knowledge
• Navigating a new job market
• Identifying useful next steps, resources, or professional connections

TEEI matches mentors and participants based on relevant professional field, goals, background, shared language, and availability.

Who we are looking for

We welcome professionals from a wide range of fields, including technology, data, engineering, business, management, marketing, sales, finance, entrepreneurship, design, HR, project management, and other professional disciplines.

You should have relevant professional experience, communicate clearly and respectfully, and be comfortable supporting someone from a different background or country.

A LinkedIn account is required for volunteer registration and verification.

Flexible and fully remote

Mentoring takes place online through TEEI Mentorship.

You and your mentee decide when to meet, how often to meet, how long each conversation lasts, and whether you want to continue. There is no minimum number of sessions, fixed weekly schedule, or required programme term.

Complete the required onboarding before your first mentoring session.

What mentoring is not

Mentors are not recruiters and are not expected to find participants a job. TEEI does not ask mentors to make employment promises or provide professional services outside their experience.

The purpose is practical, human guidance from someone who understands the professional world.
