If so, please consider joining our Board!
New England Justice for Our Neighbors (New England JFON) is 13-year-old immigration legal services organization serving most of Massachusetts. Our clients include asylum seekers, unaccompanied minors, and victims of violence. We currently provide free legal consults and legal representation to approximately 400 low-income clients each year.
Despite the current environment, we are fortunate to be in a period of growth. A key element to our success will be the recruitment of several new Board members, who will have a real opportunity to shape the organization. At this time, we are particularly seeking Board members who reside in Western Mass. and who have one or more of the following skills/experience:
✱ Fundraising/Marketing ✱ HR ✱ Non-Profit Management
We encourage candidates both with and without Board experience to apply. All candidates are very welcome, including those with lived experiences similar to those of our clients.
