The Electoral Innovation Lab at Princeton University conducts research and uses insights from math, law, and data science to promote fair districting, reform partisan primaries, and build a voter-centric and competitive democracy. We draw on the resources of the Princeton University community in law, history, politics, complex systems, and computer science to explore these issues of electoral reform. The Initiative also serves as a platform for building connections between academics, reformers, and government officials, and for catalyzing systems-level thinking and supporting the work of advocates, journalists and policymakers with high-quality research and data.
