A Sales & Business Development Co-ordinator

position is available with ALL OUT AFRICA as a 2 YEAR contract starting as soon

as possible. Our preference is for this position to be based at either our

Eswatini or Cape Town office in southern Africa, however we will consider the

possibility of this being a flexible workplace position.

All Out Africa is a responsible travel

business specializing in providing volunteer holidays, educational tours (school

& university groups), internships, wildlife safaris, scuba diving beach

tours, and other experiential trips in southern Africa. We are dedicated to

offering authentic and sustainable travel experiences that leave a positive

impact on both travelers and the destinations they visit.


Job Description

We seek a dynamic and self-motivated

individual to join our team as a Sales & Business Development Coordinator.

This role is multifaceted and requires a combination of sales acumen, marketing

skills, business development initiative and excellent communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about travel, responsible tourism, and

creating unforgettable experiences for our customers. He/she will also have good

experience with and an excellent understanding of volunteer tourism and

educational tours in southern Africa.


Responsibilities:

1. B to C Sales & Marketing:     

Source potential customers

through various channels including online platforms, referrals, alumni and

networking.

·        Convert leads into sales by

effectively communicating the value proposition of our travel experiences.

·        Manage the entire booking

process from initial inquiry to post-trip follow-up, ensuring a seamless and

enjoyable experience for customers.

·        Carry out pre-arrival

communication with booked travelers, providing necessary information and

support to enhance their trip planning experience.


2. B to B Sales Development:

·        Identify and establish

partnerships with travel agents and other B2B channels to increase bookings.

·        Develop relationships with new

travel agent partners through proactive outreach and personalized

communication.

·        Work closely with B2B partners

to promote our experiences, provide training and support, and facilitate

bookings.


3. Custom Group Business Development:

·        Collaborate with clients to

understand their unique preferences, interests, and requirements for custom

group travel experiences.

·        Design tailored itineraries

that align with the group's objectives, incorporating activities,

accommodations, transportation, and other logistical arrangements within All

Out Africa’s portfolio.

·        Coordinate with local partners,

suppliers, and guides to ensure seamless execution of custom itineraries,

including special requests or arrangements.


4. Online Platform Management:

·        Oversee and manage our

Adventure Engine booking platform, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and

user-friendliness.

·        Regularly update content,

pricing, and availability on the booking platform to reflect current offerings.

·        Monitor platform performance

and implement strategies to optimize bookings and revenue.


5. Online Marketing and Advertising:

·        Develop and execute online

marketing campaigns to promote our travel experiences across various channels

including the website, social media, email newsletters, and paid advertising.

·        Create engaging content,

including blog posts, articles, videos, and social media posts, to attract and

engage potential customers.

·        Analyze performance metrics and

adjust marketing strategies as needed to maximize ROI and reach target

audiences effectively.


Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Marketing,

Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.

·        Proven experience in sales,

marketing, or customer service within the travel industry, preferably in volunteer

tourism and educational tours.

·        Strong communication and

interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and foster relationships

with customers and partners.

·        Excellent organizational and

time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet

deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·        Proficiency in using online

booking platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.

·        A passion for responsible

travel and sustainability initiatives.

·        Knowledge of southern Africa's

travel destinations, attractions, and tourism industry trends is desirable.

·        Experience of selling,

attractions, and tourism industry trends is desirable.
