Description

This is a full-time position working from one of the states in which we operate, including California, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, and Washington state.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Account Manager works within Client Services teams to support the Account Leads and execute direct mail fundraising programs on behalf of our clients. The Account Manager works as liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams. Account Managers ensure the timely and successful delivery of a wide variety of project management and client-facing duties. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analytics:

  • Assist Account Lead in developing client annual plans
  • Ensure accurate program and project reporting
  • Assist Account Lead in forecasting client annual expenses

Client Service:

  • Draft year-long fundraising schedules
  • Guide production management and design process for projects
  • Create and manage approval of project budgets
  • Draft project strategies
  • Draft project list orders
  • Create package specs
  • Manage production vendors
  • Manage all project schedules and deliverables
  • Proof memos, strategy briefs, copy and art for clients

Requirements

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly operates a computer and other office equipment and remains in a stationary position, often sitting (or standing if at a standing desk) for prolonged periods; communication is via email, chat, phone, video, and/or in-person with others inside and outside the agency in order to exchange information; repetitive motions may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers in order to operate computer equipment, copy machines, and printers. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience required in the following areas: project management, fundraising, advocacy, nonprofit, production management, or similar
  • Required experience & knowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic production knowledge
  • Desired but not required experience & knowledge: Experience with nonprofit fundraising and/or advocacy

  • Ability to communicate effectively, utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of agency’s products and services
  • Ability to think critically and proactively act, following the necessary procedures to address problems
