Paralegal (Employment-Based Immigration)

Established boutique immigration law firm of 18 years seeks a full-time Paralegal with experience in employment-based immigration matters to join our team. Jarecki Law Group, LLC is gay-owned and values diversity in hiring. More information about the firm is available at www.jareckilaw.com.

Responsibilities

-Draft forms for employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B visas, PERM cases, and I-140 petitions.

-Support attorneys through the organization of documents, the monitoring of deadlines, and the management of checklists.

-Draft complex, lengthy written documents in support of immigrant and nonimmigrant employment-based matters (such as support letters for H-1Bs, O-1s, and National Interest Waivers).

-Maintain up-to-date and accurate case information in the firm's case management system (BlueDot).

-Provide regular updates to attorneys and clients regarding the status of cases.

-Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and assist with setting appointments.

Requirements

-Experience in employment-based immigration matters.

-Must have excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills.

-Must be able to juggle multiple tasks at once with accuracy.

-Proficiency in a second language is preferred.
