Research Associate - business strategy for academic projects

BlueSky to BluePrint is seeking a Research Associate to support our work with leading creators of innovative digital initiatives in higher education and cultural institutions. We work with leaders from all disciplines who have developed significant online projects meant to advance scholarship and make knowledge widely accessible. Our clients are publishers, academic libraries, scholarly researchers, funders, international organizations, and scholars in all disciplines. They are the domain experts; we help them by using different aspects of business strategy to help them to better understand the environment they operate in and the range of tactics available to them to build audience, create impact, and define plans for recurring sustaining support.

We use a range of qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviewing, focus groups, surveying, financial analysis, and more. Among the types of work the Research Associate will be engaged in are conducting landscape analyses, developing interview guides, meeting planning and coordination, and proposal writing. Some onsite work and/or travel is possible, but not required.
