Position Overview:
Cascadia Consulting Group is seeking highly motivated and organized Project Coordinators to support our Planning and Facilitation (P+F) and Communications and Engagement (C+E) and lines of business. These roles include outreach and support to help local businesses and residents implement green actions and comply with city requirements, support community workshops and focus groups, and facilitation support to help a range of climate and natural resources planning projects. Cascadia seeks candidates willing to be inquisitive and reflective about incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts into their work.
One of the positions will work 50% with C+E and will be based out of our Oakland office. The other position will primarily support P+F and can be based either in Oakland or Seattle.

The experience and education typical to demonstrate this level of ability is a combination of education in a related field (e.g., environmental studies) and 0-3 years of relevant experience of progressive responsibility. Ultimate placement and compensation offer is dependent on experience and demonstrated skills and abilities through the selection process.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt, position. Hourly rates are based on experience and competitive with jobs in the environmental sector; the anticipated hourly rate range for this position is $26.41 - $32.64/ hour. Note: CA rate would be increased by +8% location differential. Offer and compensation offer dependent on experience and demonstrated skills and abilities through the selection process, and opportunity for advancement.

Location:
The position must be available for local client meetings about 1-2 days per week but may otherwise work remotely. Cascadia does have physical office space in both cities and a culture that encourages in-person engagement with colleagues while supporting remote flexibility.
