Nestled in the heart of North Old Town Alexandria, MSSC's National Headquarters is searching for a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in assisting the marketing team while contributing to the organization's mission
Duties:
- Collaborate closely with Senior Management and the marketing team to implement national marketing and communication strategies.
- Assist in the management and upkeep of the organization's social media profiles.
- Maintain regular communication with MSSC customers to ensure satisfaction and address inquiries.
- Keep marketing materials up-to-date to reflect the latest information.·
- Schedule executive-level meetings, ensuring optimal coordination.
- Execute outreach campaigns.
- Manage the company's contact database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Provide support in the coordination of MSSC conferences and meetings.
- Perform essential administrative duties as required.
- Occasional travel to events and meetings, which may include weekends
Requirements:
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Priority setting skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Flexible when changes arise and can maintain a positive attitude
- Prior Experience- Constant Contact, Outlook, Survey Monkey, Wordpress, Zoom Conferencing, Social Media, Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop
- IT skills- Microsoft Office Suite: Excel (Advanced), Word (Advanced), Outlook (Advanced), & Power Point (Advanced)
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required - Preferred majors in Communications or Marketing.
- Two years' experience in related fields preferred
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with an acute attention to detail.
- Effective priority-setting skills to manage various tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility in adapting to changes with a consistently positive attitude.
- Prior experience with various tools and platforms including
- Constant Contact, Outlook, Survey Monkey, Wordpress, Zoom Conferencing, Social
- Media management, Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel, Advanced Word, Advanced Outlook, and Advanced PowerPoint
Compensation:
$45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience plus benefits.
