Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as point of contact for timely and efficient program enrollment and case assignment by training staff on intake and screening processes, consulting weekly with the triage team and monitoring the participant database for accuracy and completion (30%)
  • Curate and update the agency referral directories to ensure resources are current by developing working relationships with external parties through correspondence and periodic service site visits (20%)
  • Maintain support groups calendar for caregiver and loved ones of survivors by co-facilitating groups with colleagues, community partners, and contracted facilitators (10%)
  • Monitor and modify agency-wide intake and screening tools to ensure ease of access and functionality for staff and volunteers across programs and entry points (10%)
  • Develop and provide bilingual groups programming for participants designed to increase systems navigation knowledge, resource fluency, and community supports (10%)

● Take responsibility for time management as it applies to office schedules, meetings and appointments, project timelines, and communications with peers and the public

Education:

● Proof of Completion of state-certified Sexual Advocate Training as defined by

California Evidence Code §1035.2

● Proof of Completion of 40 hr Domestic Violence Advocacy Training as defined

by California Evidence Code §1037.1

● Workplace experience in systems navigation, brokerage, customer service and/or resource coordination

● Volunteer experience in the community organizing and/or non-profit social service sector


Works Hours and Work Setting

● Full-time exempt position at 40 hrs/week, Monday through Friday during regular business hours with flex time for necessary evening and weekend projects

● All staff work hybrid schedules based on role with some combination of weekly

in-office, remote, and community-based location assignments that are reviewed

quarterly

● On remote work days, staff are expected to maintain a remote workspace that

allows for Zoom calls, phone calls, and efficient task completion. Based on role,

they may be advised to utilize a headset or headphones to enhance confidentiality and HIPAA protections when working in shared spaces

● For in-office days, staff are required to test for COVID-19 and submit the negative test, with date and initials in permanent marker, 48-24 hours prior to the first assigned office day of the week, even if it falls on a weekend. Staff who are

returning from air travel or populous locations are encouraged to work 100%

remote for their returning week and test on schedule for the following week.

● All agency workplaces are low scent/no scent to support accessibility for staff and visitors

on seniority)

● Agency provides work laptop, phone, and monitor, as well as ergonomic

workstations in-office and at home
