Job Description:

Triumph Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support children, adults, and veterans with spinal cord injury. We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Operations Coordinator. As an integral member of our organization, you will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure the day-to-day success of Triumph Foundation's operations. The Operations Coordinator will oversee various administrative tasks, develop policies and procedures, coordinate programs, and maintain relationships with partners, volunteers, and supporters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day to day operations of organization.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and staff members to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.
  • Engage in strategic planning to develop goals, objectives, and policies aligned with Triumph Foundation's mission.
  • Develop systemized methods for managing the Foundation's various outreach activities and events in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Create and implement policies, procedures, and standard operating practices to ensure efficiency and consistency in program delivery.
  • Assist with leading staff meetings in a professional manner so that action items are captured while ensuring staff accountability.
  • Coordinate projects, ensuring they are executed according to schedule, and communicate with different teams and staff members to follow up on project statuses.
  • Research, develop, and implement strategic growth initiatives with the Executive Director to expand the organization's reach, impact, and sustainability, identifying opportunities for scaling up programs, services, and partnerships.
  • Manage the Constituent Relationship Management System (CRM), maintaining donor records, volunteer lists, care recipients, and contact information.
  • Lead and supervise marketing initiatives, including developing strategies, managing campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Oversee maintenance and updates of the organization's website, social media channels, and marketing materials to increase awareness of Triumph Foundation's mission and programs.
  • Seek grant and funding opportunities, submit grant applications, and manage the implementation, reporting, and administration of grants.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with potential sponsors, negotiate sponsorship agreements, and oversee the execution of sponsorship commitments to ensure mutual benefit and long-term partnerships.
  • Initiate and administer service agreements and contracts as needed.
  • Assist with donor stewardship efforts, including maintaining databases, acknowledging gifts, and providing timely communication and updates.
  • Compose written content on behalf of the Executive Director and craft regular newsletters for distribution.
  • Assist with additional organizational tasks as needed to support the overall mission of Triumph Foundation.


Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in program development and planning.
  • Leadership skills in managing staff, volunteer groups, and cultivating sponsor relationships.
  • Resourceful, positive, and self-motivated individual with ability to prioritize and multitask effectively to accomplish tasks.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and autonomously as required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, donors and supporters, and community partners.


Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have passion and knowledge of spinal cord injury, commitment to the mission and values of the Foundation, and/or previous volunteer experience helping people with disabilities and their families.
  • Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business or a related field, but candidates without this qualification are still encouraged to apply if previous experience in non-profit administration or equivalent role.
  • Own laptop computer with sufficient hardware, fluency with basic desktop computing, database management, and software (MS Office Word, Excel, and Dropbox, etc.).
  • Type 40+ words per minute accurately.
  • Dependable and reliable vehicle for travel to office, meetings, and events.


Certifications/Licenses:

  • Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Background check administered by the organization.
