Description

Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth (RJOY) seeks an organized and professional Contracts Manager to join our team. RJOY interrupts cycles of violence and incarceration by promoting RJ practices and policies in schools, communities, and the juvenile justice system. 

 Summary: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in agency administration with moderate sized non-profits, facilities management, and overseeing various types of contracts including multiple large government contracts and grants. The Contracts Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of internal and external contracts, physical plant contacts, and monitoring physical plant facilities reports. Additionally, the candidate will interface with program managers and leaders on data entry, management and analysis of deliverables, timelines, and reports to ensure successful project outcomes. This collaboration includes streamlining internal contracting processes, supervising grant data collection, ensuring timely and accurate report submissions, overseeing government contracts, managing external contracts and relationships, and monitoring the physical plant.


Job Responsibilities: 

  •  Oversee internal and external contracts, including government contracts and grants
  •  Manage physical plant operations contracts and monitor physical plant facilities reports
  •   Collaborate with program managers on deliverables , timelines, and reports.
  •  Write reports and interpret deliverables to ensure compliance.
  •  Interface with staff to ensure understanding and meeting of deliverables.
  •  Following up with staff and maintaining timelines for deliverables.


Contracts Management Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or above in a relevant field
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Non-profit project management experience is a plus
  • Effective and clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Polished and professional demeanor and appearance.
  • High level of awareness and attention to detail.
  • Adept with Apple iOS.
  • Possess software skills including Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized and able to work independently.   
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Knowledge of office equipment maintenance, including printers and coffee makers, etc.
