POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Executive Director – Reparation Generation
Remote work from home office
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Reparation Generation (Rep Gen) is a national organization providing direct reparative payments to Black Americans for wealth-building pursuits and importantly exploring, implementing, and evaluating other models of repair to demonstrate the transformational healing capacity of reparations. We are an interracial movement of people across the U.S. who recognize our country’s legacy of racism and the perpetuation and participation in this unjust system. Reparation Generation seeks to create a more perfect union where every Black American benefits from the redeployment of wealth that has been deprived them due to systemic racism and economic oppression.
Reparation Generations’ “Reparations in Action” approach was developed by a diverse group of Founders. Our goal is to demonstrate what reparations could look like through community action, education, fundraising, activation, and reparative justice payments. Together, we are working to build a bridge of truth and social solidarity imaging a more equitable nation through projects of reparative action and healing. To find out more about Rep Gen’s work, visit Reparation Generation’s website.
Reparation Generation is an independent operating project of the nonprofit umbrella organization Multiplier, a nationally recognized nonprofit with a growing portfolio of innovative initiatives that conserve and protect a sustainable and resilient world.
