Community Relations Organizer - Empowering Dreams + Igniting Potential (part-time and remote)

Gathering underserved high schoolers and other youth, through their Charter, Parochial and Public Schools as well as Community Organizations, and preparing them to serve as co-hosts of our national CEO-interviews to develop connections leading to earn-and grow careers (please visit our non-profit www.RealWorldLeaders.org, and our for-profit www.ExecutiveLeadersRadio.com).

We need your help identifying, contacting, onboarding and arranging sessions with these organizations to help us expand nationally.

As part of a small, fast-growing non-profit, all of our team members are professionals (many of whom took a break in careers to raise families and are now ready to make a difference in the lives of underserved youth) who wear many hats. We have an "all hands-on deck" approach and job descriptions can change. What matters most to us is finding folks who believe in our mission and have core abilities and flexibility. Moving forward we envision many opportunities to get further involved in our developing organization, which may include donor relations, cohosting or hosting these sessions, social media and student engagement.

Qualifications and Core Abilities:

• At least 5 years of continuous employment with a single company and a resume that demonstrates the handling of increasing levels of responsibility along the way.
• Google docs and Excel experience.
• Comfortable with outreach - communicating on the phone and via email.
• Highly organized and reliable with a can-do attitude with an eye towards solutions.
• A love of creating and constantly improving systems and procedures.
• You will need a quiet place to work from home with both phone and computer access.

Our core team works remotely, yet closely together 20-25 hours a week. Please note, this is not a part-time job that pairs well with having another part-time job since your availability for calls and team zoom meetings is crucial.

Compensation: $25/hour + bonuses
