Americorps VISTA Member - Education Department

Build your resume while helping your community by joining our growing non-profit, (CAST) Community Action Southold Town, to gain experience in community education programs and non-profit development. as an Americorps VISTA Member.  The Education VISTA Member will support the development and capacity building of Education programs by conducting research and development to facilitate effective and efficient implementation.  Additionally, the member will research education funding opportunities, general professional development opportunities and incorporate technology to support education and outreach programs.  Education programs include, the Summer Rise Program Academic and Enrichment Program and the Steps to Success afterschool programs, the North Fork Culinary Program food truck expansion and annual Health Fair and Resource Fairs. 35-40 hours/week.  Must be reliable.
