Description
General Administration·
Manage day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. ·
Prepare documentation for External Auditors. ·
Process daily receipts and disbursements in QuickBooks.
Process final payroll in Gusto. ·
Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Develop and/or improve systems to account for financial transactions. ·
Gather and organize bank statements.
Monitor and track grant activity, including invoices generated by coordinators. ·
Organize, track, and lead the calendar of payments to contractors. ·
Research and note discrepancies in reports and records. ·
Document and notify the Executive Director of any accounting errors. ·
Maintains historical financial documentation as required by law.
Budgetary
Track actual expenses.
Monitor cash flow, generate monthly and quarterly financials.
Prepare monthly summaries of contractual and grant balances.
Provide external accountant with trial balances and data as needed.
Track and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Communicate regularly with key staff to ensure compliance with established administrative
procedures. ·
Foster effective team dynamics and collaborative efforts among staff.
