This is a part-time (20 hours) to full-time (37.5) exempt position.
Position Purpose
The Children’s Community Mental Health Clinician will provide direct clinical services, paraprofessional staff consultation, training, and support for the afterschool youth development program. We seek a license-eligible clinician to serve as our Community Mental Health Clinician in a non-traditional mental health setting, using an anti-racist, trauma-informed, child-centered, community social work model. Our setting requires formal mental health skills (case management, assessment, individual & family therapy, referrals, etc.) and informal behavioral coaching, social-emotional support, youth development, and skill development. We are designed to bring mental health services to communities that wouldn't normally access support and are seeking a professional who will commit to the community.

Pay
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications, and other business and BGCSF needs. At BGCSF, our decisions are based on other factors and depend on each position's circumstances. Depending on the need and requirement of the position, an individual could be hired at or near the entry-level, mid-level, or top-of-the-range for their role and compensation. As such, a reasonable estimate of the current range for Part-time is $35,000 - $43,750, and for Full-time is $70,000 - $80,000 annually (Based on Part-time or Full-time, the compensation may vary.).
