JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Housing Acquisition Repairs & Lease Specialist will work on a team and report to the Vice President of Housing Acquisition. In this role, the Housing Acquisition Repairs & Lease Specialist will be focused on monitoring owner responsible repairs and managing the lease signing process for all Anthos|Home participants.

Key responsibilities include the ability to:

  • Monitor repair agreements and contact landlords weekly to check on the status of owner responsible repairs in progress.
  • Conduct verification walkthroughs.
  • Perform ARC and HQS inspections.
  • Update Salesforce with all relevant repair data and ensure the unit record is accurately marked for client viewings.
  • Work in partnership with the Operations team when/if repairs need to be conducted by Anthos|Home. Coordinate the handoff of a unit.
  • Effectively communicate relevant inspection data to the Housing Acquisition and Operations teams.
  • Collect keys from property providers.
  • Responsible for directing proposed lease agreements to legal counsel for review and approval.
  • Convert all approved lease agreements into fillable PDFs where possible and ensure Salesforce and SharePoint files are updated.
  • Prepare all lease paperwork, verifying tenant and landlord details including terms and prices.
  • Schedule and conduct lease signings, guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process. Ensure all completed paperwork is sent to the landlord for countersignature, and all final executed documents are uploaded into Salesforce.
  • Responsible for weekly reporting to VP of Housing Acquisition.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

The Housing Acquisition Repairs & Lease Specialist must be a people person who loves working with others and solving problems. Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 years or more of experience working with people in the housing and human service sector is required. Experience in property management or a related field is highly desired, but not required.

  • Ability to utilize critical thinking skills in decision-making situations, good organizational and record-keeping skills, and good independent judgment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Willingness to travel and make multiple visits in the community
  • Ability to use public transportation or meet the same travel requirements with reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs, as some work locations may not have accessibility to an elevator, or meet the same requirements with reasonable accommodation
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and similar CRM software
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work in a diverse environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Competitive Pay $65,000- $70,000 (dependent on experience)
