This role is for someone who is excited and skilled at social listening and expanding our audiences – New Yorkers who want to support many different movements for social justice.

We also organize people across race and class to give in support of social justice movements. We also offer year-round programming to help organizers build and sustain their work.

This position is full-time, exempt. The Digital Media Manager will report to the communications director and will regularly partner with other staff.

  • Collecting and organizing digital assets generated by staff and contractors (images, video, transcripts and other text content) so they’re available for use by the Communications Team and other North Star Fund staff in outgoing comms.
  • Tracking budget line items related to digital content projects and consultants.

Updating the Strategy

  • Setting benchmarks for success (engagement and growth) on key social platforms and monitor progress on those benchmarks.

Connecting with Grantees and Peers

  • Provide support for capacity-building work with grantees and peers in philanthropy as appropriate.

Supporting Strong Organizational Culture
