Assistant Director

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Director who is passionate about public health and advancing health equity in the Central Valley of California. The Assistant Director will be responsible for supporting both the administrative duties of Cultiva La Salud and also providing leadership and oversight on grant programs. A successful Assistant Director is organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An ideal candidate will have several years of experience in the non-profit sector with sound knowledge of business regulations, standards and practices. Additional responsibilities include planning and implementing public health programs, monitoring progress towards objectives, building positive relationships with funders, community members and staff. Must have demonstrated success in writing and implementing grants. Bilingual English-Spanish skills are required. A bachelor's degree in public administration, public health or related field and 3 years relevant experience is required.
