This is a full-time position with all standard Roundabout benefits. The salary is $42,000 annually plus any overtime for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.

Description

Roundabout Theatre Company, the nation’s largest not-for-profit theatre, seeks a personable and organized fundraiser to join the company’s Development Department as the Individual Giving Assistant. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Major Gifts and will provide administrative and operational support to the entire Individual Giving team. This position plays an important role in a department that raises $20 million annually.

This is some of what the Individual Giving Assistant will do:

  • Provide administrative support for all solicitation campaigns, including drafting, routing, and sending letters and emails
  • Manage the formal acknowledgment process for all individual donors, including completing gift processing forms, regularly updating letter templates, pulling weekly reports, and editing, routing, and distributing letter 
  • Provide support for major gift solicitations and stewardship, including drafting proposals and reports, and administering major donor and underwriter benefits
  • Serve as a Patron’s Desk customer service representative, handling inquiries over phone and email related to subscription renewal processing, ticketing requests, donations, and benefit fulfillment
  • Support team-wide research needs, compiling full donor profiles and bios for special event briefings
  • Coordinate regular database maintenance, including Tessitura Plans updates for donor moves management and tracking benefit fulfillment
  • Manage daily review of online contributions and ensure the accuracy of membership data and gift entry in coordination with the Development Operations Assistant
  • Serve as the Individual Giving team liaison with Development Operations, helping to streamline and coordinate department-wide processes and procedures
  • Manage weekly Individual Giving Team meetings
  • Manage inventory, ordering, invoicing, and expense tracking for Individual Giving team
  • Perform other administrative duties to support the Individual Giving team as needed
