Treatment Action Group (TAG) seeks a dynamic, motivated, and skilled individual to become its Director of Development, leading fundraising efforts and supporting the organization as it continues to grow. This position will report to TAG’s Chief Operating Officer. This is a full-time, salaried role.
The Director of Development will provide leadership for the direction, planning, and execution of fundraising, development, and advancement activities for TAG. This will include cultivating donor relationships, working with the Board of directors to drive giving, and acquiring/creating other revenue streams and partnerships. This individual will leverage their experience to develop and implement a strategic development plan to raise funds for TAG in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner and oversee all organizational fundraising efforts. The Director of Development will work closely with staff across the organization to identify, pursue, and manage funding sources. The Director of Development will also manage and support TAG’s Grants Manager and provide leadership and strategic vision for foundation and institutional funding.

Salary & Benefits
The annual staring compensation range will be $80,000 – $95,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and performance. TAG offers a competitive benefits package that includes fully-employer paid health insurance for the employee and their dependent(s), and generous paid vacation (starting at four weeks; five weeks after a year, plus 15 additional paid sick days, and employee chosen holidays). TAG also provides professional development opportunities (training programs, conferences, mentoring, workshops) and a flexible work environment. TAG is an eligible employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Location and Hours
This is an exempt position, with 40 hours per week expected within TAG’s office hours (9am – 5pm or 10am-6pm ET). Work on evenings and weekends may be required at times.
TAG’s preference is for a New York City-based applicant but will consider fully remote candidates within the U.S. Remote candidates will need to be able to travel to New York City for quarterly meetings and to meet with key funders and stakeholders.
TAG does not currently require employees to work from our New York City headquarters office, however there is a preference for a candidate who can attend donor meetings and work in the office when tasks require.
