Bilingual (English & Chinese) Senior Graphic Designer

We are looking for a SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER to join the team immediately!

In this role, reporting to the Director of Culture and Communications, you will work on all digital projects which will include, large-scale website updates, landing pages, online advertising, and banner design. Other work will include a design for a variety of social media platforms and printed marketing materials.

The IDEAL candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on digital design experience. You must be fluent in Adobe CS with a strong understanding of type, color, composition, and layout. You must have an interest in current trends in web design, responsive design, and user interaction. Your design aesthetic should be clean and modern with a corporate slant. You must be hands-on, eager, excited and ready to join this team! Familiarity with basic HTML, CSS, and Wordpress, Enthusiasm for marketing, and fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin OR Spanish are all pluses.

Your Responsibilities:

- Visually design the organization’s presentation collaterals from digital to print and exhibition display in the most creative way possible.

- Collaborate with the Art Director and team to create graphics that support the digital content strategy, including, and not limited to, website UX updates, social media, newsletter, app development, and UX designs.

MUST-HAVES

- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in graphic and multimedia design.

- Must be detail-oriented, a good communicator and team player.

- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

- Capable of working extended hours when required.

- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

SKILLS

- Design - familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (expert in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)

Preferred Qualification:

- Content Management (WordPress) is a plus

- Experience with SEO and marketing concepts

- Bilingual - at least a basic level of reading comprehension in Chinese Mandarin.
