WHO WE ARE
Campus Compact is a national coalition of colleges and universities committed to advancing the public purposes of higher education. As the only national higher education association dedicated solely to higher education civic and community engagement, Campus Compact enables higher education institutions to develop students’ citizenship skills and forge effective community partnerships. Our resources support senior administrators, faculty, staff, and students as they pursue community-based teaching, scholarship, and action in the service of positive change and creating just and equitable communities.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Youth Action Board Program Manager to develop and coordinate programs and initiatives focused on empowering students and their peers to be youth changemakers through The Allstate Foundation’s Youth Action Board program. Reporting to the Senior Director of Member and Student Engagement, the program manager will collaborate with the student engagement team and all members of the Campus Compact staff. The program manager will work with foundation staff, the Senior Director, and the student engagement team to ensure all aspects of the Youth Action Board program are executed effectively and successfully. The program manager will play a critical role in the ideation, development, and implementation of Youth Action Board activities, projects, and initiatives while centering youth voices and empowerment.
About the Youth Action Board:

The 30-member board will be responsible for helping The Allstate Foundation advance its strategy for empowering youth to serve and improve communities across the country. The board will achieve this mission by developing and participating in youth-led service initiatives, planning and launching national youth engagement efforts (including summits and days of service), advising The Allstate Foundation and its partners on pressing youth issues, and more.
