Homeroom Teacher: 2024-2025

Provide world-class schooling to students from low-income communities. The Greater Dayton School is Ohio’s first non religious private PreK-8th grade school exclusively for students from under-resourced backgrounds. We're hiring Pre-School Homeroom teachers for new roles due to continued growth in the 2024-2025 school year.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Teach reading, writing, math, school jobs, and character education to a mixed age K-2 class.
• Plan individualized lessons and units of study with a co-teacher.
• Build rapport with students and families and communicate with them effectively.
• Lead a sport, science project, or club during after school time (3-4p).

Compensation + Benefits:

• Base salary - $59K-$63K
