Description

ABOUT EVERGREEN SOCIAL IMPACT

Founded in 2021, Evergreen Social Impact is a nonprofit fiscal sponsor organization that provides fiduciary services, including governance, funds management, and other administrative services to projects with social-impact missions. We can act as a long-term administrative home for tax-exempt and public/private partnership entities, or as a ‘nonprofit incubator’ for new charitable projects that are in start-up mode.  By providing an administrative and operations hub for our sponsored projects, we give them the freedom to focus on their missions.  We are a small but mighty team that values flexibility, dependability, a can-do approach to our work, respect for ourselves and others, and a healthy work-life balance.

POSITION SUMMARY

ESI is a fully remote organization, and our IT infrastructure is entirely web-based.  We utilize Microsoft 365, including Outlook, SharePoint, and the MS Office suite, as well as task-specific software for accounting and donor management.  The Operations Manager supports the ESI and sponsored project teams by acting as the first line of IT support for hardware and software issues and coordinating support requests for our IT contractor as needed. They will manage ESI’s Microsoft licenses, SharePoint, ESI’s website, and other software platforms and applications. They will also provide general operations support, potentially including HR/payroll/accounting support, on an as-needed basis.  The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, capable, resourceful, flexible, detail-oriented, a strong team player, customer-service focused, able to multi-task efficiently and effectively, and open to wearing multiple hats.  This is a new staff position.

This is a regular, full-time (4-day, 36 hours per week) staff position with benefits.
