About Aim High
For 39 years, Aim High has provided a multi-year summer enrichment program that empowers Northern California middle schoolers from underserved neighborhoods to love learning and pursue their education. Since 1986, we have prepared more than 15,000 middle school students for academic and career success. In Summer 2022, our program served more than 1,600 students at 16 sites in high need communities across the Bay Area and Tahoe Truckee regions. The Opportunity
Aim High is seeking an Associate Grant Writer to join its Development team. Reporting to the Vice President of Development and working in close partnership with the external fundraising and development operations teams, this position will play a key role in securing revenue during a critical period of transformation at Aim High. This role will deliver compelling, high-quality grant proposals and reports that ensure Aim High is able to raise funds from a diverse mix of corporations, foundations, individuals and government sources. The position provides grant and report writing services so that relationship managers may devote the vast majority of their time to external cultivation and stewardship efforts.
